For this project The cover design should reflect the topic of dissertation. We had to make a mood board for typography, color choices, inspirations and if possible sketches of layout and cover page. The file has to be in A5 size in 300 dpi.

Starting from this week we had 2 tasks to complete first starting to design the book cover, second thing is to complete the conceptual framework of our dissertation.

Meanwhile for the book cover, the design needs to present the idea and the main topic of the dissertation, therefore I tried to come up with an idea that strongly presents my /dissertation book title.

My book title is the "Life of Traditional Animation in the Digital World" therefore I wanted to design something that presents both the Traditional and Computer sided of animation. At first I had an idea of designing something that looks half 2D half 3D to show both of their aspects, then the other and final idea that I went with was to create a double silhouette illustration design that shows how computer animation lives in the traditional, And the the movies that where chosen for this design were "Snow White" to present Traditional Animation and "Frozen" to present Computer Animation.
