Our final project is a group work consisting of myself, Zain, Ryan, Joe and Yip. we were required to create an animated infographic of our chosen Topic.
LECTURE NOTES
Lecture 1 -Briefing
07/01/20 (Week 1)
Mr. Shamsul briefed us about the Final Project on our projects and how we were expected to progress in the following weeks.

14/01/20 (Week 2)
In today's class, we were taught to use after effects to create basic animations. We started by simply animating a ball along a path to make it look like its bouncing. The second exercise was to create an animation using charts to compare two things.

On the first day, Mr. Shamsul asked us to form into groups. My group members consist of:

We were then asked to randomly pick a topic for our final Project. We were given the topic " Natural disasters"
We brainstormed ideas for what we could do under the topic. we started with some of the famous natural disasters such as Pompei, and the fires in Australia. But upon consulting Mr. Shamsul he said that we should try to find something more unique and keep searching for more ideas. After further discussions, we finally decided on " Krakatoa" which was a more unique and lesser-known disaster, yet one of the strongest volcanic eruptions the world has ever experienced.

We were asked to present a mood board, color board and the typeface for our final in relation to research we had done.

21/01/2020Today we worked on finalizing the storyboard as shown below.

Today we worked on finalizing the artworks for the final video. Mr. Shamsul had also suggested some changes based on the animatics so we also worked on fixing these changes.
