This week we didn't have a lecture because we were focusing on our project 1 and 2.

No lecture, but Mr. Vinod briefed us about our final project.

Poster
After getting my key artwork approved , I started designing the poster using illustrator:

FEEDBACK
(Week 8)
General Feedback:
Mr Vinod told us to update our feedback sheet because we'll be marked on it too, make sure to work on the right document size if its A2 don't do it in A3 because it will increase the font size if you try to expand it, for our point size we need to make it between 14-18 points. We also need to make sure our e-blogs are up to date and to put more effort into them because Mr Vinod and Mr Shamsul can only look and grade our process/work from there, in the reflection section we have to write more than one sentence unless we can summarize our experiences/observation/findings in very good English.

General Feedback:Mr Vinod told us that if we want to break up our key artworks to put it on our collaterals make sure that the audience will understand that is a manifesto. For our final project, we should work independently and make our own decisions, we should also start researching on what we have to do since it takes a lot of time to find an idea.

Specific Feedback:
Poster is ok but need to make the size of the font a bit smaller since it looked so big when i printed it.

T-shirt and Case are ok but I need to add the "a design colloquium" and not leave it out of the design.
REFLECTION
Experiences
(Week 8): Cause my key artwork got approved since last week I got this week to completely focus on designing the merchandise and the poster. I struggled a little bit with designing the poster cause my artwork looks strong as Mr Shamsul said so finding a nice and suitable placement for the words was a bit difficult.
(Week 9): This week I had to complete my work on designing the merchandise and the poster. For the merchandise I did too many different designs but I didn't feel really satisfied with how they looked so I kept working on them till I got a result a liked, and for the poster I kept struggling with finding a nice and suitable placement for the words so I decided the make more than one design and luckily one of them got approved by Mr Vinod.
Observation
(Week 8):Designing the poster wasn't as easy as I thought and i observed that the look of the artwork and how strong it is play a big role with the placing of the words and the way the poster should be designed.
(Week 9):By doing the collateral & poster design at the same time, I observed that the collateral design was easier for me to design, I don't know whether it was because my key artwork was more suitable for the collateral or I just literally have no idea for the poster design.
Findings
(Week 8):I found out that good poster design requires visual hierarchy and balanced, more important the meaning of every element behind the poster.
(Week 9):At the end of this project I would say that I felt really relived that everything was approved and done on time even though I struggled a bit but actually I had a nice time working on this project.
